Rivet gun ?

Post by tshort »

I have one more "major" tool to buy....
Anyone have any experience with the Sioux rivet guns? Avery has them on sale, and I'm wondering if it's worth the extra 50$ or not. We used several different types in the workshop and all seemed fine... any specific recommendations?

Fred at Clear Air sells rebuilt rivet guns. I bought a CP 3x gun for $185.00. That is less than half price for a new one.(rebuilt with New US made parts and the housings are cleaned-up and powder coated. I really like mine.

I am getting good prices on products from Brown tools and clear air. You might check out these outfits.

I didnt not get the Soux rivet gun, I got the generic Avery gun. However, I did get the Soux drill, and if their gun is anything like the drill you will LOVE it. Dont get me wrong, the Avery one is nice, but I can only imagine that the Soux one feels like a Caddy
