I want to label all my wiring as I put it in, and I don't have one of those fancy machines that writes all down the length of the wire like the big boys.

I bought a Dymo Rhino 5200 industrial labeler from here:

I specifically bought it because it'll print on heat shrink tubing. The downside is you have to buy the tubing in printer cartridges, and they're expensive ($30-37 per 5' cartridge depending on tubing size). It'll also print on cheaper flexible nylon tape that's intended for cable wraps.
