This seemed like a pretty good way to use some of it. Setting the dimpler up this way allows me to slide the dimpler around under the sheet as it's being dimpled. Also the four sheet thikness brought the level up exactly even to the lower mandible.

When I took delivery on the wings the good people at Vans let me keep them in the crate (I had to take the crate back to them the next day or it would have cost me.) Along with the wings I got some awesome pieces of foam sheet. Most of you all probably did too.
