NAPA 7220 Self-Etching Primer Discontinued???

Post by bmurrish »

I stopped by a local NAPA store to pick up a few cans of 7220 to use before I shoot my interior with the light gray Cardinal A-4108-GR230. They only had 2 can of the 7220 on the shelf so I asked the guy behind the counter if they had more. He told me that was all they had and they were discountinuing it. I asked if that was NAPA nationwide and he said yes. Keep in mind this was one employee and he could be wrong. I suggest if you plan on using the 7220 you might want to get with your local store to see if this is true and if so get it before it is gone.

This happened last fall. They said they didn't know if they were going to get anymore, and about a month later, they had it again on sale. I stocked up on it then. I'm sure it'll be around again.

Thanks Chad, that's good to know. You saved me a 2 hour round trip to Denver. I just wait until they get some more in here locally.

I did what Chad did. I picked up a case, and they were selling it dirt cheap too. Its perfect for those little jobs where you dont want to setup the gun.
