Priming inside gear leg weldment and steps

Post by Joe Parish »

What did you guys do inside the gear leg weldment and inside the steps? On the gear leg I mean the center part that does not make contact with the leg itself. Did you do nothing or dump something in to coat it? Also on the inside of the steps?

A light coat of oil would be the only thing to consider.

I put a light coating of grease on the bare metal parts - including the portion inserted into the gear engine mount. It will keep rush from forming.
