Xmas gift ideas

Post by tshort »

Was hoping you guys could help out here - the family is bugging me for gift ideas.
I am finishing the wings and have the QB fuse in the shop. Any ideas for tools / parts / etc that are coming up that I could add to the Christmas list? I'm having trouble thinking of things except for the obvious engine / prop / avionics (unfortunately Bill Gates is not in my family :( so those are out!). What kind of things will I need while finishing up the fuse, etc?

CJ - don't worry, I gave them the Hooker information!! :)

Last year my wife bought me a universal rivet removal tool from Cleaveland. I probably would not have purchased it myself but I guess she wanted to show a vote of confidence in my building ability. :? Anyway, it actually is very handy and has been used moe than I would like.

Also a Van's calendar is a nice item I was given last year.

I know, I know, a RivetBangers.com T-shirt!

Thanks! I wish I could say I look like him. I look more like Gimli son of Gloin than Sky King. Anyway it's fun to change them around once in a while.

Okay, now I know that is Sky King...

Who is Gimli's son? Hell, I don't even know Gimli!
