Promoting RivetBangers.com

Post by JohnR »

Okay, this is a great site and Spike and Patti are great host. The people here are friendly, and it has proven to be a really nice environment to discuss RV issues in and make some good friends along the way.

One of the main differences I see is that we have a higher density of builders vs fliers here at RB than some of the other places. That might explain the reason we all seem to get along so well and once in a while agree to disagree.

Here is my thought, (finally) how many would be willing to wear an RB tshirt to the RV BBQ? Not trying to stir anything up but just to try and put a face on RB. I know there are a lot of people out there that don't know about RB and maybe we could get their attention and add to the family. I'm sure there are also a lot of lurkers that might feel more willing to join in if they had a chance to talk with one of us in person.

If we did this it would have more impact if we all had the same color of RB shirt. I see the one with the back printed comes in three colors, so we could choose the one we wanted to wear.

What do you think? It would be a good way to show our appreciation to Spike and Patti for all they do to keep this forum open for us.

Spike would you and Patti be okay with this?

Sure. I usually try to wear something identifying every day of Oshkosh to try and get some visibility.

If you guys hold off for a bit Patti is working (as we speak) on some new stuff, some of which is specific to Osh '07.

Cool stuff! I'll be shopping over the weekend! I'm sure I'll end up with one (perhaps two...) of the doggie T-shirts! 8)
