Nope, didn't miss Jack's...we didn't do it this year. He is SO busy with the AG spray season, that we couldn't do it. We may do a small potluck later this fall, but no pig roast this year...

Been trying to get RVers to camp out around 12th -- near the BBQ -- so that most of the neighbors are RVers. so far, no luck, wish is odd 'cuz every year someone says "hey, let's set up an RV corral." Then the proposal gets met with a big "meh."

OTOH, it's pretty hard to get it to work out since folks arrive at all sorts of different times and the horde usually reaches 12th by sunday night/Monday morning.
