Looks like everyone must be gone

Post by JohnR »

Guess everyone else has headed off the Osh Kosh already. Due ot a commitment I cannot leave until Sunday night. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. I plan on checking in here if I can get Wifi in the camping area.

Anyone at Osh on the wifi yet?

Do any airplane work today John?

I didn't...cleaned house ALL day! I have a special visitor coming in Monday night...

Plan to work on the RV tomorrow some though. 8)

Ian glad you made it safely! See you Tuesday if we don't run into you before then.

Chad, I've bee nworking on home improvement stuff for the last month or so. Kind of a drag but needs done. We added a 12x19 addition on the shop to store mowers, snowblower, tractor and misc stuff. Today I put the garage door on it and then made atrip to the Moline airport to pick up my daughter. She came home ot stay with her Mom and do girl things while we are gone.

An interesting thing I noticed on the drive to Moline. We were running 80 mph, uhhh, I mean 70 mph down I-80 and the high cloud layer was keeping up with us. I had the exact same clouds out my window 60 miles down the road as I had when I pulled on the interstate. Now that is a pretty healthy tail wind! :o There wasn't near that much wind at the lower levels and the clouds were just hanging there. Sure would have been a good day tp be heading East in an RV.

See you in a couple of days! Travel safe.

Patti and I are heading out tomorrow afternoon, should arrive early evening. We will have connectivity all week when we are back at the residence. I am very much looking forward to this.

Hopefully next year we will be able to fly out in the Cessna. Flying in two years ago was a blast. See you all there!!

Not gone yet ... working the night shift now and debating leaving Sun PM vs. early Monday AM.
It will probably be early AM Monday, putting me there midday Monday.
Looking forward to some ribs on Tuesday!

I'm posting updates here.

Which reminds me, Patti and Spike, give me a call when you get into town and I'll swing by the B&B and pick up the t-shirts.
