Might have to do a business trip to Chicago area next week and was wanting to know the best GA friendly airport up there.

My favorite Chicago airport is Shaumburg, 06C

One runway, but very nice service, and a GREAT resaurant! It's directly underneath the approach path for RWY 9 at ORD, so don't be surprised to see an airliner right over the top if the 9 runways are in use.

Palwaukee (PWK) is probably closer to downtown, but Schaumburg is my pick.

I'll second Schaumburg! However, if you are there, ignore the poor RV-6A sitting outside rotting away!
