Well, lemme tells ya... it was alotta fun talking with everyone who made the trek!
Keith, you are a fine pilot and I would fly with you anytime. You have your license to learn and you are doing it well! Nice landings and great en route technique! Thanks for taking me for a ride! So sorry you couldn't stay a tad longer, but I understand.
WS, I am going to have to talk the town into enlarging my ramp area! With all these planes I am going to need my own parking!
I hope Christopher was kept entertained.
Thermos, When I come over today to work on your wings we ARE NOT going to the BBQ place OR the Mexican joint! I had buffalo chicken pizza (with extra Franks red hot sauce!) after you left and I am still percolating!
Lemme see, additional attendees were:
CLRedding and his wife. Pics that Craig took are soon to follow. They flew up in their WICKED NICE 210 horsepower 172 and entertained us with a maximum performance takeoff. They also got the long distance award coming all the way from NJ! Craig, next time DO NOT eat at the airport restaurant! I have plenty of food in the hangah!
Noah F. and new builder Justin. They came up in Noah's 182, that I somehow missed seeing. Next time Noah!
Mitch G. and Jack A. flew in aboard Mitch's -4 from the Falmouth Airpark.
Tom M. brought Ken R. along from Maine. Ken has built a nice -7 but they took Tom's -9A to KPYM.
John W. came in from Marshfield, MA in his beautiful Murphy Rebel amphibian. He was showing off his new ICOM A-210 that he got from the most recent group buy! Veeeery nice, in the words of Borat!
Machine Man made a surprise visit! He was not scheduled to attend but was able to coerce his family into cooperating! Good to see you Rich!
Jerry L. keeps his -6 on field and strolled over.
Mike D. (-8 builder and REALLY close to flying), Mike B. and Chip D. and Jim L. (from my EAA Chapter), Jason S. and Bill L. (airport rats extraodinairre), Nate L. and Mitch from Alpha One Flight on field strolled over, Bill and Judy S. (neighboring hangar and CFI) visited while I was flying with Keith and I must be forgetting several others who made it by for the gig.
Of course, we all oogled over Bill and Beth H's -6 while we feasted on Beth's seafood chowdah and my chili.
After the place died down, I fired up the Cherokee Six and filled it up with Jason S., Bill, Beth, Nate and Mitch. We went for a nice sunset tour of the Plymouth area in the family truckster! The winds were mellow and the barge was SCHMOOOVE as silk! The plane JUMPED off the ground with the whole crew loaded aboard in about 1,800 feet and we were climbing out at 100 knots and 800 fpm! MAN, that plane can haul! We stewed over that and the whole day over some adult beverages and pizza until ummmm, way too late in the night.
Lorin, next time YOU will win the long distance award!
There will be many more events, so stay tuned!
I am going to host these events rain or shine, so fly or drive... it is going to be fun!
Good to see everyone and thanks for dropping by to say hello!
