So are you guys keeping up with the ARC and whats going on with the 51% rule? From talking with some of those involved it sounds like the FAA might be looking to take a hard stance with the definitions of what qualifies and what doesn't.
Sounds like if the FAA goes that way, the quick built market might take a big hit.

Because the FAA is very interested in making sure that the builder build's at least 51% of the plane. Apparently they are considering redoing the form that they use to qualify kits (the form number escapes me.) From some of the things Ive heard Vans and other makers of quick builds might have to turn down the amount of work that has been done for the builder.
