Who's gonna be building hard over Christmas??

Post by RV9inIowa »

ME ME ME!

My wings are stored and the SB fuse kit will be here by Friday! Santa's coming with his ABF truck!

Like my precision engineered wing cradle? The other end has carpet straps to hold the wing. Total cost = $20. It will soon be up against the wall with a wood panel on the outside (to hang fuselage drawings on).

I Hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas,

dave

That's great Dave! I will be in the "Not doing anything" category over Christmas. Fuselage done, finish kit arrival end of January. Bummer. Your wings look great! Have fun geting the fuselage going! It's A LOT of fun!!

I'm working my butt off now! I had taken way too long a hiatus after my accident, and now I'm desperately trying to finish up my left fuel tank so I can put the left wing to bed...

I have all the interior ribs installed, sealed, and filleted. Vent line is in, cap plates are in, wiring's in. Need to install the end ribs, flop tube, and wire the cap senders to the BNC connector, then install the baffle and Z-brackets, then no more proseal for awhile! hooray!

I expect I'll get a little bit of time to work on wings, it may only be 2 days off, but every little bit adds up. I did all the corrosion protection on my wing ribs yesterday, is it every a good feeling to finally get that done.

I like that wing cradle Dave.
