A friend of mine almost bought one of those a couple years ago. He had one brought to the airport for a demo, and thought about it for a few days...only thing that held him back was no hanger to put it in. Woulda been cool!!

That is super sweeet. I am really starting to dig the motor gliders. A gentleman has one at my airport and it just looks like it would be a very majestic way to fly.

I agree, seems like it would be a GREAT way to spend a day flying.

I've said it on here before, if I wasn't building an RV / my next aircraft is going to be a Xenos from Sonex. (Unless of course Van's gets back to the RV-11 project  ) Also WAAAAAY cheaper than a composite Euro glider...those things are SPENDY!! Chad do you know what they wanted for the Stemme? I'm guessing $125k easy.

Sure could own a number of RV's for the price of a Stemme these days!

I saw two for sale doing a lookie loo online, and one was just over $200k, almost new, and the other was right around $125k. I guess an S10 holds a sailplane distance record at a bit over 1500 miles :o That'd be a nice, quiet, cheap, loooong cross country

Good Gracious!!! :o

I didn't realize it had 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with a 3 car garage :)

Maybe without the motor it would run $125K, of course then you need a tow...
