First Ride in a RV

Post by bmurrish »

Just got back from my first ride in a RV. Our local EAA chapter had a breakfast fly-out to Pueblo. Bill Vondane was kind enough to give me a ride in his RV-8A. Not only was it my first ride in a RV, it was my first formation flight. We flew a 4 ship formation that consisted of 1 RV-4, 1 RV-8A, and 2 RV-7's. It was so cool being in the air with everyone so close. KPUB even allowed us to do an overhead approach in formation and we peeled off one by one for the downwind. Very, very cool. I can not thank Bill enough. I think every builder needs to ride in a RV. I am definitely motivated to work on my -8 now. I took 108 pictures. I will try to get some good ones on my website soon.

Cheers,
Bill Murrish
