We had an aircraft return to MSLP and had to make a single engine landing. The pilot needed to input right rudder upon touchdown to counteract the operational loss of one engine. Apparently he had also locked up the right brake simultaneously upon touchdown. The following photos of the burnt main landing gear tire, and the remnants of the ground down brake assembly. It took about 45 minutes for a crew to get the aircraft prepared for movement, and another two hours for the international airfield we were at to repair the ditch in the only runway at this location. This meant all traffic was at a halt during this evolution.
