I seen a post there on Friday entitled RV-17. It was about a guy or group of people building a ?/3 scale B-17. A number of replies to the post... all positive. I posted my reply. Went back to read further replies and it was gone... vanished... dissapeared!

Not sure why other than maybe it was because of my post praising the people that can actually fabricate things and develop the drawings... whereas I am just building the biggest model I have ever seen!

Maybe the last comment ticked someone off??

Oh well it was my first post in 6 months probably... guess I will wait another 6!

I just got around to watching the video. That is a classic! I haven't laughed out loud at anything on the Internet in quite a while. That was great!

Larry, I didn't see the thread but I'm with you. I literally post there about once every 6 months also.

That place is just too big for it's britches. So are the egos.

It kills me, "So let's talk about you now; What do you think about my plane"?

...and the daily Doug diatribe, puleeease.

I could go on... OH WAIT! I already have! I digress...

Anyone up for a trip to the Otter?

OH!

...and like all of you, when I do post there, it is usually to help out another builder with a question. That is what this hobby is all about!

Speaking of the Otter, and since we can have a little more fun here......

Was out to dinner with the family and Son Michael, the one with the hollow leg this summer, had a "Cowboy Steak". A paltry 16oz job. All of his sisters were agast that he could eat something so BIG!

He and I looked at each other and chuckled. :)

Such good memories. The Otter really is one of the biggest highlights for me at Osh. Looking forward to next year.
