Last night I had a buddy from work stop over and help me do some riveting on the Fuselage. He wound up staying for 4 hours and we finished riveting the Fuselage to the piont where we rolled the canoe.
I'm busy toinight, but as soon as I have the time I'm gonna put in the seat pans and a back rest to get in and play pilot!
I now know what all the hype is about with this milestone and I gotta say the smile has been on all morning. I can't wait till I fly this thing I'm sure the smile will stay for much longer.
Thanks. the drawing holder was easy to build and portable. I made it from 1X2s and used large binder clips to secure the prints to it. Take off the handle of the clips on the front side and fold the rear side over and the prints flip over to view the ones below.
Nice pics, Greg! I especially liked the last one with you and your wife trying it on for size. I'll be doing that soon with my wife, but I want to finish the seat backs first. Can't wait!
I thought about waiting to get in untill more stuff was in like seatbacks, panel and maby rudder pedals. but every day I was going to work or just out I had to walk by the plane just sittin beggin me to get in. couple day pass and I cannot resist told the wife I was going to wait for her to sit in it with me and we went down for a sit. Put a blanket on the seats and plop down for a while. I had no idea what she did untill I looked at the pictures.
