Lawrence, MA "RV" Fly-in!

Post by captain_john »

Hey All,

I plan on going, hell or high water!

It will mark one year for me an my project, as when I was there last year I purchased my tail (untouched) used from a local fellow. He hadn't even driven a rivet, but wanted to sell it... so I bought it!

Anywhoooo,

The website hasn't been updated since last year's event, but when I hear more... I will post it here.

http://www.eaa106.org/

Hope to see you there!

Cool, if you look at the pictures from last year's meet, there is a picture of an RV 4 in green and tan camo paint with shark's teeth. That belongs to Jack, a member of my EAA chapter. Small world it is!

I plan on taking the Citabria once again. It is just the other side of Boston from me. It is one of those things that it is easier to fly to than to drive to.

Mebbe I oughta piggyback a rivetbangers meeting here at PYM on Saturday?

What does everyone think?

You comin' up Spike?

It's a possibility. Its just far enough away and the 172 is just slow enough that I might consider making it an overnighter if I do come up. Im sure I could bring up another builder or two with me also :)

I'll be there, probably parking planes

By the way CJ, "de oppresso liber" = "to liberate the oppressed". It's the Army Special Forces motto.
