Sure, kick a guy while he is happy. I figure I have few thousand left to set. Oh well, your not going to pop my bubble that easily.

Are you counting every single solitary rivet too?

Ha Ha --I didn't mean to kick.

It looks great, you will have fun with the finish kit. It is way more exciting than the riveting!!

Every 7A or 9A will have the problem - the deisgn is such that the engine mount tube pressed on one of the nutplatest that holds the fuel pump on. Well documented problem. Some people grind the nutplate, some (like me) shorten the bolt, add washers to the engine mount, some move the fuel pump. If I was building again I'd move the fuel pump up a bit.

Spike,

I don't remember... are you going with a carburetor or fuel injection? If you're doing fuel injection, you'll likely have a fuel pump inside the cabin below the fuel selector valve and this won't be an issue.

Anyways, NICE WORK! I'll never forget the day we flipped the fuse. It's a milestone you worked hard for and you deserve all the warm fuzzies you get. Now the emphasis shifts from building a fuselage to putting things inside it.

Congrats!

I am building a Carbed version. Ill just deal with it down the road with a file or bolt. I really dont want to penetrate the firewall again if I don't have to. I want as few holes as possible.

Thanx for the heads up though!

Actually I am working on it, pretty diligently too. I am just having problems finding the time to upload photos, etc. I'll try to get something up shortly.
