FAA 51% question Question

Post by Joe Casey »

I recently read an article that mentioned there were 119 separate items the FAA has listed as required to complete, to comply with the amateur built rule. In order to meet the 51% rule minimums, (the article stated) the builder needed to complete a minimum of 60 of these items... I looked all over the net for a list of these 119 items, but could find no mention of them .... anyone out there know where to send me to find this infor?

Ask your kit provider for the list. I've seen the list for several of the Van's models floating around, but don't remember where. I may have the RV-10 list at home.
