The home stretch

Post by JimmyH »

I am happy to say that I am in the home stretch of getting my PPL. I had my solo at the end of June, and today I had my first cross country flight. The flight was to KBMI in Bloomington Il. Thursday we are planning on going up to Rockford Il mainly to get me more time at airports with ATC. Getting to this stage has taken longer than I had expected but weather and my instructor getting married has eaten up a couple of months since my start in January. If I get some time tonight I will try to post a picture from the day of my solo. I will update more often now and am really looking forward to the day my wife and I can go up together.

Outstanding Jim! Remember, it's just a license to learn.
