Mechanized Right Hand Main Tire Wheel Chock - adjust the rope length and knot placement where you like it. These chocks will last the life of the aircraft and provide unsurpassed functionality. Use it as a regular chock or latch it for added security. The right hand nav light color = green.

I printed more spark plug baffle wire seals... different angles, hole count and sizes.

I printed a phone stand today with a large base and an adjustable range of angles. I don’t make many of these, but they’re always nice and handy to have around. It has cutouts for microphone sound access.

Killing time, imagining the perfect cowl support tool I’d like to have. There are plenty of versions out there, but I want one stiff enough to really lean on, made mostly of plastic with a sturdy aluminum plate. We’ll see how it turns out.

I spent a couple more hours on this today. So far it seems to be doable, and the tool has a reasonable range. I still need to work the details.

working the details.... not sure how best to mark the alum plate for reference. thinking about some scribed lines or plates with dedicated outer diameters. added a keyed spacer as an option to be able to easily remove and reassemble the tool to the same position.

The engine parts in these photos are from the 390.

I’m still fine-tuning the details of this design. I adjusted the spacing, so the gray spacer sets the spinner aft edge offset from the ring gear support forward flange precisely. This makes it easy to determine the exact forward spinner offset and verify it using the spacer’s marking. In the photo, the cowl outer plate is configured for a 360 cowl with a 390 engine. It will probably turn out that only a couple of different spacers are needed to cover most of the available products and if a custom spinner spacing is needed it is a quick print for a new spacer length.

The outer aluminum plate can be tailored to compensate for engine rubber bushing sag, .125 or .25 inch, whatever is needed.
