OMAD is a highly restrictive form of intermittent fasting where individuals fast for 23 hours and eat one meal within a one-hour window. The focus is on consuming all daily calories in a single meal, rather than spreading them out throughout the day.

It is not what you eat, it's when you eat... Manage your health.

I have been doing this for 3 months and have found it to be very beneficial. If feel better and have more energy. Eat whatever you want but only for one meal a day. If you are diabetic or pre-diabetic this could be the ticket to a healthier life. I have reduced my weight, the goal was 165 lb, but it has been so easy that my new goal is 158 lb. Hey, push the weight down to the point where you feel the limit, then bring it up a little. Make it a lifestyle. The aircraft will fly better at a lower weight. :)

I am sharing this information because I think this is a big deal, it's huge! Don't get caught in the cardiovascular disease and pancreatic cancer epidemic.

At 2 PM, after not eating since 6 PM the previous day, you might feel hungry—resist the urge to eat. That hunger will fade in about 30 minutes, leaving you without further cravings. This is ketosis, a state where your body burns fat for energy instead of glucose, helping it heal itself. When hunger strikes, try exercising outdoors in the sun to reap additional benefits. It truly works! My weight is steady at 165 lbs, and I've gained shoulder muscle from doing pull-ups.

Ketosis is a metabolic state where the body uses fat for energy, producing ketones. It happens when carbohydrate intake is low, lowering insulin levels and enabling the body to burn fat stores for fuel.

After seven months of doing OMAD, my weight loss has stabilized. This morning, it was 161.2 lbs (6 ft), though it might go up since I recently started taking creatine monohydrate, which may cause some weight gain. I'll see how combining OMAD and creatine works out. Always experimenting!

I’m an older, retired guy who’s been following OMAD for the past nine months. It’s been working well, helping me manage my weight while keeping my energy up throughout the day.

Today, I’m 6 feet tall, weigh 157.8 pounds, with a blood pressure of 109/66 and a heart rate of 58.

It’s a big improvement for me and hopefully some encouragement for others. By the numbers, I’m healthy enough to fly.

My wife and youngest daughter are amazing cooks, and I eat their delicious meals until I’m full, but I only eat once a day. As the saying goes, it’s not about what you eat, but when you eat. The nice thing about OMAD is that you can eat whatever you want, and it just works.

I’ve knocked out 566 push-ups in the past four days and am on pace to hit 1,000 in a week, which would be a personal best. I also need to put more attention on working my back muscles. When the snow is piling up outside, you can still keep your body active.

This is what happens when you ask your daughter to make dinner for your one meal of the day, then spend the evening playing cards and going for a walk. Eat whatever you want for your one meal of the day. It just works. She is getting good on the BBQ. Trust me, it is more important when you eat, than what you eat.

I completed my 1,000 (now 1051)push-ups in a week challenge, and it was easier than I expected. I’ll add 50 more this evening to push the total over 1,100. I also managed a bunch of squats and planks but did not bother to track. When it is cold and snowy outside you can still stay in shape. The weather is looking better here tomorrow, and I plan to fly.

day-time-number. this is easily done with only one-meal-a-day (OMAD). After you get settled into OMAD you will have more energy than you could imagine.

For some reason, my wife really likes it when I put on my reading glasses. I think I can spot two abs, but the other four are still missing, and I’m on the hunt for them. Maybe I’ll track them down sometime soon. I am thinking about buying a weight set with my Social Security money.

Indulge in whatever you’re craving for your one meal of the day (OMAD) — it really works! A Cincinnati classic is Skyline Chili with a kick of habanero sauce. Afterward, enjoy some dessert over a card game, then head out for a walk. For the best boost, exercise before your meal to get your breathing and heart rate up.

After eating, I usually notice my systolic blood pressure drops by about 10 points and heart rate increases. Today, for example, after a meal my blood pressure was 104/66 with a heart rate of 80 bpm. Normally, in the morning, my heart rate is below 60 bpm.
