Got alot done!

Post by captain_john »

Well, the board was pretty quiet this weekend.

I know Chad was busy, as I spoke with him. I know that Wicked Stick was busy as well.

I got LOTS of tank prep stuff done today! It has been a day full of cutting, polishing, riveting, fitting, thinking and overall fiddling!

Tank support brackets are done, capacitive senders are fitted, Auntie Rotation bracked is installed, flop tube guard is fabbed and installed, BNC connector is drilled, snap bushings are opened up and the outboard rib stiffener is match drilled.

Tomorrow I need to order the deluxe caps, do the vent line and vapor return line, match drill the drain hole and perhaps whip up some proseal!

Good thing I don't have to work for a living!

Ive been quite busy myself, though it has nothing to do with airplanes. We are almost ready for moving day. 3 more days and it will be over. I have helped a friend of mine with the throttle linkages and such on his 8A though. Sure feels good to at least get some time playing with an airplane.

see my post in the construction thread. i got a lot done today as well! HS spar is done. it took me a while, but got it done. spent about four and half/five hours in the shop today doing that, thinking, and reading.

it was GREAT spending the whole afternoon out there! listening to the ball game, and working on the airplane! 8)
