Congratulations Scott
Now you have built two airplanes. The RV-12 goes togehter almost that easy maybe easier so maybe you can break down some day and build another RV
Considering my problems with a medical I would do it in a minute but I can't get a sport pilot even though I have driver's license because the FAA has twice denied my medical

I specifically asked if sport pilots can fly my plane, and the answer was an unqualified yes! I may own an RV again some day, but I won't build one. My wife has already informed me of that. I can always find another airplane, but I can't find another her.

The first flight took place as scheduled and went very well! The airplane performed well and will be even better after a few minor tweaks. I'm finally back in the air again!

Congratulations Scott
Nice job of flying given the circumstances! Hopefully you will get some calmer weather this week and start getting some of that time flown off. Beautiful airplane
Of course I am partial to red especially on airplanes and women

Excellent news Scott, glad it went well. Having your own flying plane again has to feel great, there may even be a few new things you do with this one.

Yay Scott. I am so thrilled to hear this, and honestly, I have a real soft spot for that type of plane, nice pick.
Thanx for the update!!

Thanks again all! I will definitely be at OSH this year so feel free to stop by and have a look. It isn't a show plane but them's not what I builds.
Mike, technically I'm a RivetPopper. I think Spike was toying with the idea of a new site.
But I have banged enough rivets for a lifetime.

Actually i was considering a dope smoker forum. My first love fever has really come back badly now that Rotec has hit the main stream ...
Might have to setup both I guess.

RV's are great airplanes. But there's not much out there for the kitfox/avid guys. Us Rans guys will hang out anywhere.
Right Brian?

And don't let the relatively short build times get to you either.
You're going to love your RV.
