bmurrish wrote:He must have wanted to save that money so he could buy you something nice. I am curious to see what kind of estimated delivery date he gets on them. Ordered my slow build 8 wings mid March and are due to ship 23 May. Hey just think, Spike is going to have all kinds of extra time to spend with you while he's waiting for the wings to arrive.
I think they said the ship date would be in two months, so that puts it around the middle - end of June. I think one of the main reason that he went non-QB was because for him it's more about the building than the plane, so taking longer to build it is more fun.

Uh thanx babe. As far as you Bill and CJ, I havent made up my mind on banning you yet. You'll find out as soon as I decide ... maybe

And Bill, I asked about delivery time when I ordered, and Van's wife did not want to speculate without looking at the paperwork at the factory. She said to stick with the website time for now, which is 8 weeks.

I also started to look at arials for the radios. I am thinking about putting the fiberglass type fins that the new 182's have on the VS for the navs ...

Boy was this a fun and friggin expensive spur of the moment trip. I wasn't sure I was going to get all of my new toys through security on the way home.

Missed you guys though. I met Dwight, but he was the only person I really was able to hook up with. Some more of you guys had better make it to Osh!! We are going to have *real* shirts for that trip.

Welcome back Spike. Are you trying to tell us that you spent the $4000 on toys for yourself? Shame on you.

HEY! I pay for that credit card too. How do I know that I didn't buy my pizza?

Bets I can rack up $4k before you can cancel them all.
