Aluminum?

Post by TomC »

Hi All,

Can one of you that have done this project confirm that the following part is actually aluminum? The ones that my local hardware stores have are all steel.

9946K13 ALUMINUM SET SCREW SHAFT COLLAR

Thanks,

The ones we did on the group buy were Aluminum. The Mc Master Carr part number is 9946K13. If you type it into their site you can see the specs. The set screw is steel but the collar was aluminum.

Dave, Thanks again!

Bill H. is going to install them in his project while he does the DAR stuff.

We appreciate it!
