Not sure in Wisconson, but in North Dakota you can get a work permit license after 30 days, and have your license back after 90. It looks like they were not impressed with her actions.

Medical Question

Post by TomC »

Isn't there a place on the medical form that asks about DUI, etc? Won't this be a problem for her in the future?

Not the same

Sorry guys - "No Contest" is not the same as "Guilty." If I recall correctly the medical asks if you have been convicted; so she could truthfully answer "no" to that question.

I can't recall if the renewal form asks about license suspension though.

We all make mistakes. I am sure in Patty's case this was a good scare and a wake up call.

This is what is asked on the medical form:
Yes/No History of (1) any arrest(s) and/or conviction(s) involving driving while intoxicated by, while inpaired by, or while under the influence of alcohol or a drug; or (2) history of any arrest(s), and/or conviction(s), and/or administrative action(s) involving an offense(s) which resulted in the denial, suspension, cancellation, or revocation of driving priveleges or which resulted in attendance at an educational or a rehabilitation program.
I would think she has to reply YES to this question and then supply a letter of explanation. What happens after this I don't know.
