Peter, when I took over the garage for a shop, Denise said that the garage actually includes the driveway and I am therefore responsible for shoveling it  Can you believe that????

CJ, Wings due to ship on 8/14/06! Not sure how long it will take to get here. Just hope the shipping isn't too much :(

Get a snowthrower for the garage!

:P CJ

P.S. Me? I just drive on the stuff. With two JEEPS there isn't any amount of snow I can't go through!

Exactly why I couldn't live in your state. I have summer and winter. I don't think I would do very well up there :-D

Looks great Will, aside from the fact your elevators are on backwards.

...and where is that pesky little trim tab!?!

I didn't think it would take very long for you to notice that CJ

Actually, the HS and both elevators are upside down in this pic. It was just easier to set it up this way as the control horns stick up (instead of down into the table). I also fogot to put the trim tab on :bang:

Now that your mostly done with it... Peel all the blue plastic off of it.
I forgot to peel mine, and even though I kept it high and dry, there were a few small areas on the trailing edges where the blue plastic had an air bubble or two and after 2 years of hanging there, I noticed a slight bit of corrosion starting to appear.

Everywhere that the blue plastic was firmly adhered to the skins were fine, but if you have anywhere where air pockets can get trapped underneath, it can be a problem over time.

Here's a picture of my current project status, was cool to finally have the rudder move via the pedals up front, and the elevators via the stick.
I didn't make any airplane noises, but I did grin a bit ;)

Ok, it's been awhile, in fact this particular thread went dead. But anyway, I got my wing kit and it sat idle in the crate for a little while waiting for the proper cutters for the spars, then I said to myself, why not start on the ailerons and flaps, so monday the 21st I pulled out the proper parts and started building. This is the pic of what I got done: The right aileron is finished, the left flap is to the stag where I take it apart and dimple and spray and then rivet. the left aileron is half done.

I tried to give your link a file extension .jpg didn't seem to work. If that's the right location the file will need some sort of extension to work
