Well, it took me long enough...

Between a busy life, a new house, the holidays, etc, it sure took me long enough to get to this point. But this weekend I started to actually rivet the tail assemblies. I suspect that this will go fairly quick as I have pretty much finished all of the metal work for the tail. So, I should be looking at a riveting marathon over the next few weeks. Oh, and I borrowed an air squeezer from a friend. I might have to keep one of those things close by.

Nicely done, John! Those first rivets are really satisfying, wouldn't you say! I riveted those parts just a couple of weeks ago. (and took a picture of my very first rivet).
With all the parts you have prep'd, you'll be screaming along. Have you made it to the HS center nose rib yet? it's tough.

I have not done that one yet John. Ive avoided it as long as possible but think I will have to do it tonight. Ill probably get Patti to drive it while I buck it. Might as well make it as easy as possible.

I second checking with the Yard, I bought a refurbished for around $350 also. Worth every penny!
