Ok, I am not a dog owner but know a lot of you are. I seen this link on AOPA and thought I would share it with those who do own dogs.
http://www.safeandsoundpets.com/index.html I know Thomas flys with with Jake from time to time. This may be a good way to keep him hearing "Jake, get another beer from the fridge".

Do they come in 3XL? I'm not sure they would fit "Otto" our little Beauceron puppy. He is a little sensitive about his ears!
The one in the snow was taken a few weeks ago of him at 11 months. He's just shy of 100 lbs now. ...not sure he will have a seat in the -7 unless he stops eating now.

Bill, I saw them too! I made this thread a while back.

My buddy never got them for his golden and I haven't even had Wyatt flying yet. It is hard to be certain that he will be secure in the Citabria and whenever I take the Cherokee Six, I have too many people or a destination that is not conducive to him being there.
I should get a pair to try, even if they sit on the shelf until the RV is done.

I keep meaning to order some but haven't gotten around to it yet.
Jake always flies with me in the skyhawk - I think his log has over 40 hours in it so far! He hasn't gone up in the 170 yet as I don't want him in there until I'm comfortable flying it.
I'll post pics if I get some!

I just ordered one for Wyatt!
We will be making a trip in the Arrow on Columbus Day. My buddy is shipping out to Kosovo, so we are making a flying trip up to see him off.
Hopefully the weather will be good! I am looking forward to flying up and seeing how Wyatt does in the plane! This will be his first trip in a plane! He does really well in the JEEP. I expect he will do equally well in the plane!

CJ let me know if Wyatt keeps them on! I want to get a pair but am thinking Otto would spend the entire trip trying to work them off.

I have a pair for Jake ... he will tolerate them and doesn't really try to take them off, but they don't stay on. He likes to stick his head between the seats of the 172 when we're flying just to check on things up front ... when he does so, they slide around his neck. I've pretty much given up on him wearing them ...

They weren't on for more than 20 minutes of our 9 hour (Hobbs) trip to CO last week...

I will let you guys know what I find out. I plan on waiting until the runup before slipping them on.
Wyatt is kinda sharp and I think (hope) that when he discovers how much quieter things are with them on, he may just leave them on.
We shall seeeee...
Stay tuned!
