Big things in small packages

A very thin envelope arrived in the mail today, one of those official looking things that makes you think you may already have been selected as a winner. Inside was a check from the United States Treasury itself! See? What does this look like to you?
Now, to most people, this might look like a new sofa, or a new transmission, or a little escape to Yosemite for a week. But to a Rivet Banger, it looks like HALF of the LEFT WING! Thank you, Uncle Sam!
