Hey Spike, where did all the decorations go? The Ivy and other stuff? It doesn't look as "fancy" anymore.

Say, are you doing one wing at a time?

I only see one wing there.

The decorations are still there, the camera angle is different.

I am building only one wing at a time. I tried a few different configuration but there just wasnt enough room in the shop to setup two jigs at the same time. This is ok, progress is moving along nicely. I think Ill like doing one at a time. It makes each task half as intensive

Yah, it does...

WS did one wing at a time. Dunno what his reasoning was. He had plenty of room.

I just couldn't pull it off unless I did them both simultaneously. The whole left/right thing blows my mind unless I have them both physically in front of me.

Must be my ADHD or something!?!

Spike,

For some reason, I can't see your picture.

By the way, I built one wing at a time as well. It made the things like rib prep seem a little easier.

Looks good Spike! The problem with both wings at once is you need twice as many clecos :o I have 1000 silver clecos now and am using them all.

Yes. The house has a fully finished inlaw suite in the basement. That is where I am building. The carpet is awesome as it makes it so much easier on my feet and back. I can't say that Patti and I were all that thrilled with the color/condition of the carpet when we moved in, so trashing it by building a plane on it was an easy decision. It will get replaced when Im done.

Spike,

How do you clean up after drilling and cutting? Don't the metal burrs get caught up in the carpet?

I was thinking about using old carpet, but figured it would be too difficult to clean. Ended up using old pieces of carpet and some of that interlocked floor padding tiles on top.
