My tail kit is "At Destination Sort Facility".
It's saying it'll be delivered the 21st 7pm, but if it's already at the 'destination sort facility', maybe it'll come tomorrow!

You don't even have to deal with customs, so I bet you will have it real soon, the fun is about to really start.

oddly enough, it came TWO days early. They tried to deliver it yesterday, although the online tracking didn't ever say it was out for delivery. They took it back because it's signature required.
It was marked as out for delivery this morning, and as I was leaving, I found the door tag they left yesterday. I called and found out that they'll be trying to deliver again between 3 and 5pm, so I guess I'm leaving work early! It'd be tight trying to get it in my car, so I really don't want to have to pick it up.

They tried to deliver it at 2:30. I got there at 2:50.
Ended up having to go pick it up. It BARELY fit in my car!
Already have gotten cranking on the HS! Spar doublers are shaped and prepped, and clecoed into the spar channels. Tomorrow night, drilling!

Congrats on getting started Ian. One hint I can give for the HS is read the notes on the drawing, not just the instruction sheets, there is at least one operation not in the instructions that is a whole lot easier to do before those two bars are rivetted in place. The little cut-outs in the bottom flange of each spar is what I mean.
Another hint, mark a line on the forward spar flange pieces before you drill them using the skin as a template, and make sure that line shows through the holes in the skin.
Last hint, read ahead and test measure a LOT before doing the holes and cutting of those 404/405 pieces where they join the forward spar and stiffeners.

Thanks for the tips, Don! I''ll have to wait til I get home and dive back into the plans before all of what you just said really sinks in.
