Probably old news but I ran across this. Looks like I'll wait and head to Osh on Tuesday then stay toward the end of the week this year.

Their coming back.

I used to work for Lockheed-Martin and I have to confess I really want to see this plane in action. I saw lots of pictures back in the planning phases but it will be nice to see an actual Raptor up close.

It was an awesome plane to watch and this year it promises to be even better. What impressed me the most was the low speed flight.

Jim, I agree. The low speed flight was amazing. Last year I just stood and stared up at the one that was doing things airplanes are not supposed to be able to do. It was very interesting and I look forward to seeing it again. Sounds like they now have some new tricks up their sleeves also. :)

John they are the reason I'm going for the second half of the show this year. I missed them last year by a day and had to listen to how cool that demonstration was for the rest of the summer!

The Raptor is really worth seeing

I also heard that the Scarebus A380 will be there also.

I've been waiting for an official announcement about the 380. I figured they would bring it since it's one of the largest gathering's of people they can show it to at one time.

Oooh... big French airplanes. Don't want to miss that. :)

Can't wait to see the F-22.

Although I work on the F-22A and see them regulary on local test hops, I don't get to see these types of maneuvers. The F-22 will be doing a series of these a some airshows this year as part of the 60 th anniversary of the Air Force. My local airport, Falcon Field (KFFC) in Peachtree City GA will be getting one of these shows along with alot of other flying demos by the Air Force. See the link as I think they will all over the country and there wil be more opportunities to see the F-22A. http://www.thegreatgeorgiaairshow.com/usaf60.asp
