Woooohooooo.... Wings are done!

Post by RV7Factory »

Hallelujah... my wings are done! What a great feeling.

Most of you know this, but a lot happened since I started the wings in Oct '05. In January of '06, we bought a new house and the project went into storage for 6 months, then this past January, my wife and I had our first child. When I started the wings, I had no idea either of these events was going to happen, and at times I felt as if I would never see the end, but I stuck to it and now I can celebrate a milestone passed. Bring on the fuselage!

To all of you... Thank you for all of your support, encouragement, help, and humor!

Your just making good progress because you have her to help you now. I get more done when Luke is around too.

Looks great! Nice job. Have you got the fuselage kit yet?

Great Job Brad!

Glad to see you hit a big milestone. I finished my second tank this weekend so I am not far behind you. Gotta get my fuse ordered!

Hah! If you only knew, Grasshopper (unless you built out of order). I used to think I was "right behind Brad" too....two flaps and two bottom skins to go! And he took 6 months off!! :)

Congrats on the 2nd tank!

Joe,

You gotta keep pounding rivets to stay in the game! The goal is to be done with my wings in another month. Most likely won't happen but I can try.... :P
