So, I have this wicked fun new sportbike, and new sportbikes have these crappy ugly undertail fender monstrosities that have the tag and turn signals and reflectors and junk. Most people eliminate that one way or another; I had to get all fancy and fabricate one out of aluminum and flush rivets :)

dang right! My buddy bought a new bike right after I did, and he did his undertail with L-brackets he bought at walmart. He had a bunch of problems with the bolts vibrating loose, so he had to locktite them.

I used AN-365 nuts :D

Nice bike Ian! I've been lusting after one! I just went in the red on the RV project though, so I think I'll be riding the same motorcycle for quite a few more years.

Nice work Ian, but I don't see the pull cable and hinge to pull it up for those high speed getaways :?

dude.. lockhart phillips used to make a piece of glass, that fit over the license plate, and connected to 12V power.. glass was clear, but when you flicked a switch, glass turned completely black, like a calculator screen kind-of.. haven't seen one in MANY years....

hmm.. how can i put that technology into a flickable sunshade roof for my tip-up..
