Well On Sunday October 7 the RV 6 was pulled out of the garage and loaded into a 26 ft U haul and driven to Plymouth airport. The longest 14 miles of my life! :o But it's finally there. Just want to say thanks to Captain John My father and Kevin J Oh and also my wife who will never see me again unless she comes down the Hanger. Thanks for all your help! :) I posted Pic's in my Bill H Album.

Ah, the official "uncrating":

Bill, it is good to have a static display at the never-ending airshow at Hangar #5!

Congrats!

 CJ

P.S. To think that the hangar looked like this only a few short months ago is shocking!

Thanks for all your help!

Congrats Bill, it looks like you have made quite a few upgrades to the hanger environment which should make the next phase all that more enjoyable.

It must be a real thrill to move your airplane to the hangar from your home shop. I am still hoping to move my RV-6A yet this fall to our EAA hangar at K8Y6 here in MN. I will feel like I have reached a real milestone. I am hoping to have it so all I have to do is mate the wings etc to the fuselage, put oil in the engine and fire it up!
