Wrapped up for winter...

Post by cjensen »

I'm outta parts, and no finish kit until the end of January!!

Bummer. Wish the timing/money would've worked a little better...oh well. Guess I could rebuild that VW 1200 now...

Chad,

Looks good and I bet it is bittersweet to be out of parts!

You can come down here and help me get rid of the rest of my parts!

Oh, since you are now carb bound, did you plan on installing the gascolator doubler that Vans now recommends? It is not shown on the plans but I am sure someone knows what the part number is.

I need to order one and get it installed before I rivet in my firewall.....

What a problem to have Chad, hope you don't go through too serious withdrawal symptoms in the next two months. :) Congrats on getting that far along. I'm sure you'll find things RV related to investigate, debate, and decide on while waiting, somehow I don't think you could just turn it off for two months, you've been way too into this project.

Ive had the opposite problem, no time, plenty of parts. That has changed though. Work has slowed, so once I get the flying out of my system, its back to the RV.

Thanx for the update Chad.

That's what my wife was telling me yesterday (she said I'm too passionate about it to leave things alone). I am going to help her with some dog training to keep myself occupied. I'm sure there will be RV related stuff thrown in for good measure! 8) I do have several friends around me with plenty of stuff to do...Carl...Rob...Larry...Terry...Jim (Sonex)...call me guys!!

Chad, that looks great. If you get real bored come on over to Iowa and you can help me get caught up.

I have no lack of parts, just time.

...or you could come here and see how the finish kit goes together!

You up for a road trip Chad?

We got some Oktoberfest leftover!
