OK: What I meant to say is - over here we have a 500 foot rule which says: An Aircraft must not fly closer than 500 ft to any person, vessel, vehicle or strcture

Do you not have similar, or can you really fly down 'Main street' at 200ft

All I saw was a guy doing a low pass over a very narrow and possibly uncharted airpark runway.

There is no REAL way of KNOWING that this particular airplane was buzzing a residential area within the confines of the United States. For all we know, it could have been a MOVIE SET in the middle of the desert!

Yes: of course I do, we just do not have the wide open spaces like you do, we don't have the remote cameras, and voice overs either

To me it looked like too fast an approach, aborted landing with full power go around. I don't' think pitch exceeded 30 deg. or roll >60 deg. airspeed below 200 knots so no problem.... on mine I always have to pitch more than that to clear the trees at the other end

John, you are quite right. We have the same regs here. In sparsely populated areas you must stay 500ft from any person or structure.

That being said I have been known to call a go-around when I've been going too fast to safely touch down on my home base runway. Hard to bleed off speed when you're going 150 knots. I call it a go-around because buzzing the field is frowned upon.

Sometimes you gotta chase off the deer (or children). Maybe he was making sure no tricycles were on the "runway".

Well, you know for my airport you're not that far off. There could be deer, cows, coyotes, or buzzards (eating the deer, cow, or coyote) on the runway at almost any time. Come to think of it, maybe that's why I do it.
