As it is Christmas eve day I just want to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas and a great New Year building.
This is a great group and I enjoy coming here and reading the friendly banter about the various subjects and occasionally harassing Chad.
Hopefully I will be able to get back to my project in the near future and can catch up with everyone who has jumped ahead. I can hear the finishing kit calling from the shop.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone, stay safe, careful about operating air tools after consuming too much holiday cheer, you'll thank yourself later

In keeping with the season, I offer one of my old favorites...sorry if you heard this one before:
Santa Claus, like all pilots, gets regular visits from the Federal Aviation Administration, and it was shortly before Christmas when the FAA examiner arrived. In preparation, Santa had the elves wash the sled and bathe all the reindeer. Santa got his logbook out and made sure all his paperwork was in order.
The examiner walked slowly around the sled. He checked the reindeer harnesses, the landing gear, and Rudolf's nose. He painstakingly reviewed Santa's weight and balance calculations for the sled's enormous payload.
Finally, they were ready for the check ride. Santa got in, fastened his seat-belt and shoulder harness, and checked the compass. Then the examiner hopped in carrying, to Santa's surprise, a shotgun.
"What's that for?" Santa asked.
The examiner winked and said, "Well, I'm not supposed to tell you this, but you're going to lose an engine during take-off."
Merry Christmas to all.

Merry Christmas on Christmas day...(0155 GMT+3). I hope everyone has a great Christmas and finds many new and shiny airplane parts or tools under their tree! Socks be darned…I want Clecos, scotchbrite pads, and a nice little supped up IO-390

Still waiting for Christmas here. God's blessings on you during CHRISTMAS (not some stinkin' secular winter holiday), and in the coming year!

Merry Christmas to all. It's been a great year - finally getting the shop done, deciding on the correct plane model for my mission, and meeting a bunch of you fellow 'bangers at Airventure in July.
Looking forward to more get togethers in the future, and asking lots of questions during my building startup. Hope the new year finds you all in good health and good spirits.
To quote Dickens' Tiny Tim, "God bless us, every one!"

Dude, I'm in the Christmas zone, keep your ba-humbug's to yourself!

HEY!
I am no humbug! MFC is just more, ummmm... "colorful" to say!
I had 50 people at Hangar #5 last Saturday. That isn't something a humbug would do!
Not bad for a 5 day notice on the weekend before Christmas, huh!?! I think everyone told their wives that they were out shopping!
Bill, ya got those pictures?
When you get that instrument ticket, you need to come to one of the hangar get togethers.

P.S. "Merry Christmas"

Glad to hear John, you had me worried for a bit
Patti and I definately want to make your parties, sounds like you guys had a blast with 50 people showing up. I need to finish the rating, or get a faster plane (working on both) to make your parties reliably. Hopefully in the near future we will make one or two, or three, or four!!
We need to get this RB flyin idea off of the ground as well.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all. Here's to another year of airplane assembly ( clinks glasses)
My son is busy with "Guitar hero", and my wife and daughter are busying themselves with their stuff, so I think it's time to head into the shop and tinker

First there is the airing of the grievances, then the feats of strength!
I'm a bit tardy, but Merry Christmas to one and all. I hope the day was filled with family, friends, and Christ.
