Since I'll be getting my new garmin stack in a few weeks, I figured it was time to invest in some avionics tools:

New from SteinAir, that crimper is $325, and the positioners are $65 apiece. I got that set, in mint condition, off ebay for $220. :D

i'll fly it on the simulator a couple of times and then for real... are you near pierre smith from dougs board? i was thinking of getting some transistion training from him. i could have reeeealy used those crimpers. but im past that now. :( :P bitter sweet
