Yee haw!! I just got my letter from Van's saying that they will be shipping my fuselage on Feb 18th! For some reason they want a check for $4,900 first. Hmmm....

Yah, I think you could put a set of dimple dies between Spock's fingers and put him to work!
Smitty, you are going to like doing the fuse. I enjoyed it more than the wings. You only have to build one of them and it is the part you will be spending a lot of time in!
Have fun!

Very interesting idea, CJ. I have already cut off the conduit, but I think I a can scootch enough of it toward the fuselage to go thru the fuselage.

Scootch is good, but I prefer Captain Morgan's Rum.

Captain Morgan is pretty cheap here on my current trip to Puerto Rico. Please pray for my liver.

Cheap, huh?
What are they getting for it in PR? I remember when it was $14.99 here about 15 years ago. You know, back when NOBODY drank it!
It is about $25 bucks now here in Mass, that is if you can find a deal!
The NH State liquor stores have it for $20 per bottle if you buy a case of 6, and that is the best price around.
(1.75 Ml bottle prices, like there is any other size!)
Good thing I have a pilot's license! It makes those "packie runs" (Massachusetts slang for a trip to the liquor store) a whole lot easier!
How long are you in PR for? How is the WX?

Along this same line of discussion.

I just noticed that I posted my wing conduit response to the wrong forum. Sorry guys!

I paid $7.12 for a fifth of the Capt, they didnt have the big jug where I was at. I think at the supermarket the big one was about $20.
Other prices... $9.99 for the big jugs of Bacardi, $17.99 for a fifth of Crown Royal, $12.49 for a bottle of Sambuca. I
WILL be stocking up on an assortment to fill the empty spots in my rollaway toolbox to.

Been here (BQN) about two and a half weeks, and got about three and a half weeks to go. Weather isnt bad, daytime in the 80's, nites about 68 and the humidity is very reasonable. Isnt too bad here, but worked 9PM-530 AM the first week here, and now working 6PM-230AM shift so it is a little hard to get to enjoy all of the daylight hours.

The
hotel is pretty nice, and is right on the beach, water temp is about 80*, but not the greatest for snorkelling. Running my air conditing at the momement.

Cool!
I was just doing some hypothetical flight planning to your location from here. Looks like I will need to spend the night in Florida in order to make the over water hop the next day with good rest and a clear head.
Sure will be nice to have these planes in the sky!

My rum purchases can be much larger than yours; My toolbox gets flown back to Atlanta in a C-130 so I dont need to be concerned with weight and balance issues!

It would be better if they gave you the rum too!

Be even easier if you put your RV in the back of the C130!!!

Get more rum in the back of the 130 without the RV in back.

Well, they didnt give me the rum, but I bought some rum and a variety of different types of stuff. I opened a up a bar on top of my rollaway at work.

It is a no smoking bar. This is prior to bubble wrapping and packing away in my tool box.
