My Self-Introduction (finally)

So I figured after being on this forum long enough, I should just bite the bullet and introduce myself.
My name is John, nicknamed catfish for some reason. I'm an A&P working on KingAirs all over the country. Born and raised in Fayette County PA, will be heading back whenever this adventure ends, maybe I can meet some of the guys at Rostraver some time.
I plan on building a RV-8A with XIO-360-M1B, hartzel C/S prop, AFS-3400/3500EE Panel with Garmin GNS-430W and GTX-330. What a run on sentance there, my high school English teacher should be proud. IFR legal panel so I can either get my ticket or do some light stuff, if I have it by the time I'm ready to fly it.
I'm a private pilot with around 100 hours, a fresh BFR and almost a complex endorsement, next comes either the tail wheel or high performance.
Being an A&P and working closely with an 20+ year IA, if anyone has general questions about maintenace or FARs, type of grease/lubes, or anything like that just let me know, I can be a good resource.
Should be ordering Preveiw plans here shortly and emp. kit whenever I settle down for more than a week.
Thanks for having me on this site, for the things I've already learned and what I will learn.

Catfish, get that tailwheel endorsement!

The HP and Complex are good to get so you can do safety pilot for friends. I got them too.

Welcome!

Glad you decided to say hello Catfish. This place has a great bunch of people and are willing to help. It is amazing how many questions and most importantly 'answers' can be found in the postings here and the list of resource links. Hope you get to stop moving a bit so you can get started, I bet you'll find it very rewarding to be doing something for yourself, and not just for someone else's plane.
