If you thought Van's instructions were bad...

I just had to share this. This past weekend I assembled a wooden deck box to hold the cushions of our patio furniture. Here is an excerpt from the instructions...
Announlements:
The pneumatic underprop's pipe part need upturned, the beanpolt part need adown. Wish made the cupboard door open and close power increase installation size can at 80-100mm.
I am not exactly sure what a "beanpolt" is, but I suddenly feel the need install one on my RV.

Oh yeah, the "beanpolt" goes right next to the "forntwat" and underneath the "twittledingie" referencing the "eaglethorpe" as a guide. See note 2 3/4.

Spike, I only have the beanpolt with the left-handed fishwrench. ACS may have the right-handed version.
Smitty, I may be mistaken, but on the -7 I think the beanpolt goes on top of the twittledingie. It says so in section 86 of the manual.

Those instructions look like what you get when you run some foreign text through an online translator into English...
My wife wants to know where you got a cushion with a beanpolt...

These were I once looked the funniest instructions. I saw some bad parts but these to take the cake!

I ran your translated instructions through Bablefish but they didn't get any more understandable:

Here are my two favorites. I saved them because they were both amazing.
1. This is some of the exact text in the instructions for an automatic timer that turns on my lawn sprinklers:
This after connecting the to plug in: Make sure to heave the power turned on. Do not hold the buuton if longer than needed. If ever.
2. These instructions were included in a Soyo cassette recorder I used to have:
Push in on tapeing door if engagment not certainly. Tape will not to record if engagment incomplete with whole.
So I guess I can overlook Van's occasional iffy instructions...

I had a Sanyo fax machine once that had direction that read quite well ONLY IF you imposed a broken english/Chineese accent into the text and read it outloud to someone!

One time, I had to do a non-standard repair on a F-14 Tomcat panel not covered by maintenance manuals and had to request written authorization from engineering.
The engineer responded with a specific repair outline, and amongst what he stated he came up with something pretty much off the wall.
He wanted me to dimple the two each 3/32" holes for MS20426AD3-* solid rivets. Sounds good doesnt it?
The thing is, the repair doubler was made from .100" thick aluminum which he thought was too thin to machine countersink. LOL
