Another canopy cut!

Yep, I survived "the big cut" on my canopy this weekend!

Image

Like many have said before, this ISN'T a big deal if you take your time, and do it right!

I'm VERY glad to have this behind me, although there are plenty more adjustment trims to be made, and the rear window still needs to be trimmed to size...

I was thinking that you must have a delicate touch. Then yet another picture of a froo froo drink proved it.

Ignore these guys Chad. They're just jealous of your delicate touch.

I will buy you a case of that froo froo stuff if you impart some of your delicate touch to me.

Way to go dude!

The rest of you can go back to your Coors and Budweisers to steal your nerve in preparation for the big cut. I am going to do my best to convince the New England crew that a good rum will steady your hand better than any domestic brew. I don't think I will have to work too hard on the convincing. The Capt. is already a solid rum man.

Cheers!

Antony

That would be Knob Creek for me.

Good Lord!

Uh, yeah, that is MY Eclipse in the back-ground...had to do something to keep going on the airplane! That car is a BLAST to drive man!

I'm with the rest of you guys on Antony's comment...might want to edit that one dude!

I pay no attention to the beer "Man Law's". If I want a fruity beer, I'll have a fruity beer! I get tired of drinking the same s^&* all the time.

Brad, replace with Guiness, and you'll end up :puke: 'd on! I HATE that stuff!

This has really been fun!

The picture has three items in it, and the only one that matters is getting the least attention.

This is EXACTLY how I knew this thread would go! 8)

I edit for no man! You guys really need to get your minds out of the gutter. What I meant was if he either has words of wisdom to share or luck to send I would be grateful when the time comes. Geez -- to think I have elected to spend time with such filthy minded individuals. Black Otter night is going to be fun isn't it!

As far as the Knob Creek and Guinness go -- I will gladly partake in them as well. I tell you what, you guys bring that, I will bring a nice 10 year old rum, and we will all have a good time! Chad can be the designated driver since his bladder will burst before he consumes enough alcohol through the froo froo drink to impair his driving.

The eclipse is a cute little car Chad, but therein lies the problem. If you traded it on a Subaru WRXti you would probably gain back some of these guys respect. Of course if you want to put the issue to rest, go get a 1976 "Smokey and The Bandit" Trans Am or better a nice GTO and you will be all set.

Ya gotta remember Chad, most of these guys have some lingering concerns about their masculinity, and they don't want to embrace anything remotely feminine. :o Yeah baby, it's on now! Any takers on shots at 10 paces at the Black Otter to settle this?

Compare alcohol contents buddy! It ain't THAT froo froo!

Two problems with those two cars...Brit can't/won't drive a stick, so the WRXti is out (though I would LOVE to have one!), and while the '76 Bandit Trans Am is the ONLY Trans Am I would ever own/drive, I was goin' of the gas mileage with performance here!

Everything's a compromise!

I guess that depends on whether or not YOU are sitting next to Chad, the man with the delicate touch. :P
