Chad noticed the change in the signature tonight so I'm busted.
This past weekend I flew commercial to LAX and met Rosie to pickup a real nice RV6A he found out there for me.
We flew it back over the weekend.
Wish I could figiure out how to post a pic......[/img]

Great news Jim.
To post a pic, you must upload it to some site that will host it for you. Many of these are free. I use
www.photobucket.com. Go to that site and get a free account and then upload the pic. Once the pic is uploaded, there will be some links under it. Click in the field that says "direct link" it will automatically copy this link to your clip board.
Then come back here and do this:
And whala, you will have a pic in your post.
This works for just about any image that is hosted somewhere on the web.

All the pictures that I want to use are on my hard drive. This way you can view them, resize them and keep them for later use. By the way that is a nice RV6. Too bad it has a wheel sticking out front to catch ruts. Have fun now!

Man, if I were a moderator...I'd snip this right out. Why is there a need to point this out? Jim just got his airplane, and this isn't necessary.

To catch ruts? I somehow doubt that Jim is flying out of a mud bog.
Sweet looking ride Jim!

Mine are too but if you want to post them to the forums, you must have a webserver running on your box with a fixed IP or some other trick to let all of us on the internet know where your pictures are. That or upload them to a server somewhere to host them for you.

We give gallery space to members for this reason.

Thanks guys,
Yah she's sweet. Got her from a guy Rosie knew out near Edwards but it was built in KS before he got it I think. Mel Asbury signed it off.
It has way too many goodies to list them all but....
Dynon, Trutrak ADI II w/two axis autopilot which was awesome cruising with, Zaon anticollision, Advanced engine monitor, Garmin stack, Garmin 496 w/XM weather and tunes, custom leather over hushmat w/heated seats! 5 way harnesses.
O360, 400TT roughly.
Thing cruised around 215 heading East. Flew on auto over the Vegas strip through lots of smoke from the fires out west but it was awesome.
Chad since you have it can you fire in the cockpit pic? It shows how nice it is inside.

Jim:
That is one sweet ride.
You wouldn't happen to know of any nice 10s out there that are for sale would you.
My buddy and I would like a nicely built, well equipped 10 that is reasonably priced (of course).
