CJ...a thread to keep us posted on where your summer adventure is taking you...

Let us know where you are, and if any of us can help along the way!

HA!

I just heated that thread up while you were typing this question!

In case others are wondering, I am motorcycling from Cape Cod to OSH and Sturgis, South Dakota this month.

There is nothing like and airshow and a motorcycle rally to make you feel like you had a summer vacation!

2008 will be a summer to remember, I am sure. I have no idea what the month includes other than those 2 things, but I can't wait to find out!

See you all at the Otter!

He thought he would stop and spend the night here on his way back through from Sturgis. I haven't heard anything from him. Maybe the Harley boys strung him and his Suzuki up! :o

Chad be careful what's in that Lasagna.

Remember he's coming back from STURGIS, you never know what herbs and spices might be in there

You could wind up talking to cows or something.

Well CJ is here! Capt'n Morgan & diet in hand, and pizza's coming out of the oven! This little trip he's on is one of those "once in a lifetime" adventures, and from the stories told, he's makin' the most of it!

After breakfast at CJ's (our airport restaurant), he blasted on down the road heading east towards Cleveland around 11am this morning. Good to see you again bud!

Hey all,

It was nice meeting all of you this past few weeks. Thanks to all for everything! You are a great bunch of guys. I am honored to call you my friends. It is a comforting feeling knowing that I have people to count on in this world!

I am in the Cleveland area now visiting with my cousin and will be here for the better part of the week. Not sure when I will leave. It will depend largely on the weather forecast for the trip home.

Sturgis was absolutely WILD! I will never go back during bike week because I hate traffic and crowds. Nevertheless, it was a sight to behold. Something that I am glad I did.

Weather for the trip was unusually good. I stayed dry for the most part. No real torrential downpours. I did lose my gaiters on the way home. I guess they slipped out of the bungees I had them stuffed into. I just bought a new pair at the Harley dealer for $50! That was a costly mistake!

If you have never cruised the Badlands of SD on a bike, you have not lived! It was an absolutely memorable experience. Antelope, deer, mountain goats, buffalo, road runners, jack rabbits and rattlesnakes are just a sampling of the wildlife I saw.

Below are a few pics from South Dakota. A really cool state and if I ever moved, I would seriously consider that place!
