My Catto prop has been shipped! I must admit, I was starting to get worried. Pictures to follow.

Prop Arrives!

As I stated a few days ago, after a 13 month wait, with a $1250.00 deposit floating out there somewhere, the PO called me on Friday morning that a propeller had arrived for pick-up. I'm not sure how they knew it was a propeller.

I carefully unpacked it and was pleased with how well it was packaged.

Had to check out the paint... I'm using the same paint as used on the HondaJet. I hope folks will be able to tell us apart!

Check out the prop label...

I temp-installed the prop and tried the spinner on for size. I had Craig cut the spinner for me and he did a perfect job... (Probably saved me 30 hours and a wobbly spinner).

I'm not sure how they knew it was a propeller.
Maybe the words "CATTO PROPELLERS" in the return address were a clue.

That looks really nice. My only reservation regarding those props are their ability to handle rain. Do we have any data yet regarding how well they hold up?

I paid extra ($30/blade) to have clear prop guards installed. Craig claims you can blow through rain at 2700 rpm now. Time will tell.

If that ends up being true I will be purchasing one. That was the only remaining concern that I really had regarding the Catto props. Thanx for the info!!
